The following members of the Department have also personally attracted research income from other sources:

·Douglas Jeal received £3000 from Barlo International Plastics in 1999.

Paul Smith received £3000 from Citibank towards the 1999 exhibition at the Photographer`s
Gallery,London and £500 each from the British Arts Council and the Australian Government towards
the 2000 Group Show, Complicity at the Australian Centre for Photography, Sydney, Australia.

The University's Research Development Fund has also supported the following:

Andrew Aarons, £1500 in 1997 to support his work on the Cambridge Haggadah [a traditional Jewish

Heather McDonough, £2650 in 2000 to support her work in the `Places of Life-European Photographic Award`.
