Arrangements for the final release phase

The RAE 2008 data collection system has now been launched. This follows the pilot phase which ran from 31 August 2006 to 15 December 2006.

There will be at least two system rebuilds following the release of the RAE 2008 data collection system. The first will be during January 2007 and will incorporate some fixes to reported known problems. The second rebuild, scheduled for June 2007, will add the functionality to make formal submissions to RAE 2008.

Timetable

The timetable following the release of the final system is as follows:

3 January 2007 Final system released
January 2007 System rebuild
June 2007 System rebuild
Addition of Submit functionality
30 November 2007 Submission deadline (noon)

We will advise users, through the RAE 2008 data collection system latest news section, of any other system updates or changes which may require action on the part of users.

Contingency arrangements are in place for the final release phase. If you experience any difficulties, please follow the procedures outlined for reporting problems.
